The SVS Difference
Flexible instructional models and research-based intervention strategies make it possible for all students to access the curriculum. We understand that students are unique learners who require mulitple instructional approaches, which is why we stay on top of the latest educational research methods. We incorporate student independence, neuro-divergent affirming practices, and social development opportunities into the curriculum, while teaching children that it's okay to make mistakes! Our enthusiastic staff utilizes engaging, thematic curriculum that empowers students to use their curiosity and creativity to learn new things. Reading, writing and math curriculums are individualized for each student, no two programs are the same!
All Sequoia trees start out as a tiny seed, but given the right environment, nutrients and protection, they grow to become the tallest, strongest trees on Earth. The same is true for our students; under the right conditions, they take root and blossom. It takes a village to raise a child, which is why we believe it is crucial to work side-by-side with supplemental support service providers and families to navigate the challenges while celebrating the successes for each student.
